Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PLM expert to coordinate product releases to join our dynamic team. As a Senior PLM manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating product releases from NPI to production release ensuring quality, accuracy, and completeness of documentation supporting production requirements. Your expertise in business processes and change control will be vital in driving our product releases toward excellence. You will manage the execution of PLM software and the enhancements needed to integrate with vendors/contract manufacturers. Your leadership skills will be applied in shepherding engineering documentation into complete documentation packaging supporting procurement and production. You will develop and refine the change control business processes for the company.

What you'll do:

  • Manage change control process from NPI through production.
  • Coordinate and audit engineering documentation and product releases.
  • Chair CCB meetings, shepherding engineering releases through the change control process.
  • Analyze ECOs for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop/improve change control procedures, including ECN, and MCO processes.
  • Define features/tools needed to support organizational needs, and drive external/internal partners to implement solutions.
  • Manage core engineering/operations software packages (features, upgrades, licenses), including TeamCenter and SiliconExpert. 
  • Generate purchase requisitions for software supporting key business objectives.
  • Create and process ECOs / MCOs for ongoing production support.
  • Track BOM release status, managing the transition from NPI to production status.
  • What you'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Experience with Teamcenter PLM software.
  • Thorough understanding of change control, and documentation control.
  • Nice to haves:

  • Experience with SolidWorks and/or SiliconExpert software.
