We are looking for a part-time Technical Writer to manage and create various internal and external technical documents. Technical documents could include user manuals, product data sheets, testing protocols, and product descriptions.
What you'll do
Develop and write detailed technical documents that convey complex technical material in a concise and effective manner.Review and edit content (Technical proposals, User manuals, Datasheets)Working closely with system architects, design engineers, and manufacturing technicians in order to gain a good understanding of the materialsWhat you have
Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred or minimum 2-4 years equivalent work experienceAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsSuperior command of the English language including rules and usageProficient in using common authoring tools such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, Visio, PowerPoint, Keynote, or OmniGraffleStrong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sourcesStrong attention to detailNice-to-haves
Experience with Optical communication, optical imaging and depth sensing systems
