The Opportunity:  
 
As a Senior Analyst, Accounts Receivable Collections, you will work closely with our hotel partners to ensure the collection of outstanding balances owed to Agoda. This is an individual contributor role, and you will have the opportunity to coordinate with various stakeholders across Agoda. Additionally, you will contribute to and improve operational and collection efficiency in your domain, collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement value-added ideas. You will also have the chance to work on other important projects within the team. We are looking for a quick learner who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, high intensity work environment. 
 

In this Role, you’ll get to:

  • Recovers overdue B2B payments from partners via calls and emails 
  • Negotiating repayment plans and find alternative payment solutions. 
  • Meet the monthly assigned collection & outreach targets. 
  • Approach challenges in a passionate, innovative, and decisive manner. 
  • Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to work independently. 
  • Establish contact with hotel owners/ management personnel and negotiate effectively to collect the outstanding balance owed to Agoda. 
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to verify payments and accurately record payments in the system. 
  • Taking initiative and capable devising innovative solutions to enhance collection rates. 
  • Contribute with effective ideas to automate manual processes and work with key stakeholders on implementing identified solutions. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address root causes of delayed payments. 
  • Assist operational activities within the team, including but not limited to preparation of reports, data submissions etc. 

What you’ll Need to Succeed: 

  • Preferred background in collections within the finance/tourism industry. 
  • Strong negotiation skills. 
  • 5-10 years of debt collection experience (minimum 3 years required). 
  • Highly organized and detail oriented. 
  • Confident, proactive, and takes personal ownership. 
  • Approaches challenges with passion, innovation, determination, and decisiveness. 
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment. 
  • Passionate and quick learner, aligned with Agoda values. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. 

Location: This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
