Position Overview

The Jr Cloud Administrator is focused on the technical delivery next-generation cloud hosting platforms, driving operational excellence and innovation in the market.  This role will support global clients and is a full-time remote position.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Like to solve complex problems and troubleshoot issues quickly
  • Pride yourself in giving superior support to customers, and carefully monitoring processing of data through software and database platforms
  • Evaluate new issues based on past experience, know how to evaluate the importance of cases to customers, and escalate them when appropriate
  • Configure database monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms
  • Baseline system performance and monitor for deviation, recommending and implementing improvements to slow running queries
  • Keen ability to monitor Production Workflows and take corrective actions for errors
  • Skilled at performing regular User Assurance Testing on data, and application testing
  • Enjoy, and are skilled at, communicating with customers via phone and email
  • See the importance of tracking/following-up on tasks/issues with attention to detail and order
  • Highly motivated, focused, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the following:

  • Experience providing client facing customer support with previous interaction troubleshooting technical problems with defined SLA’s
  • Significant experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, including stored procedures is a MUST
  • Understanding or experience in relational and OLAP style databases; knowledge of transactional, no-sql, and analytical database operating principles and methodology.
  • Examples include SQL Server (2016+), MongoDB database (3.x – 5.x), and big data databases and cloud technologies like BigQuery, CloudSQL or similar
  • Must be willing to work both weekend days
  • Proficient in one or more ETL tools or experience developing components of an ETL system from scratch
  • Understanding of data pipelines with multi step transformations
  • Exposure to GCP toolset, including Big Query and Airflow/ Composer a plus
  • Defining business requirements for technical integration

Shift :

Wed-Fri 11:30 IST to 20:30 IST + Sat-Sun 15:30 - 23:30 IST
