Role and Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
· Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test scenarios.
· Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of software functionality, performance, and reliability.
· Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, regressions, and performance issues.
· Document defects found during testing, including steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results.
· Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues on time.
· Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable frequent and reliable software releases.
· Maintain and enhance the test automation framework to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
· Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and test automation.
· Provide technical assistance and mentorship to QA team members on test automation tools, frameworks, and processes.
· Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies as part of a cross-functional development team.
Required Qualification & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
· 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
· Should have prior experience in automation framework design and development.
· Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript
· Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, Appium, API Automation tools etc.
· Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, and REST Assured.
· Proficiency in Web, Mobile and API Automation.
· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Circle CI), and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
