On the Data Engine team you will join a world-class group exploring computer vision, machine learning, and state of the art data annotation with human-in-the-loop tooling. In this role, we are looking for an exceptional operations analyst to join our team that thrives on teamwork, getting things done, expert attention to detail, and with an ability to navigate virtual environments that help our team deliver best-in-class training data. If your passions align with working on cross functional teams to deliver the highest quality data and enabling the right workflows or processes to deliver, the Data Engine team could have the perfect opportunity for you.

In this role, you will

  • Develop expertise in all of the Data Engine proprietary tools and established processes within the first three months of employment:
    • LiDAR point cloud labeling and tracking through time
    • Image bounding box labeling
    • Variant video-based labeling
    • Metadata labeling and sub-categorization
    • Quality assessment and auditing of data annotations
  • Review and evaluate output generated by model and provide feedback or corrections as necessary
  • Orchestrate existing workflows and provide feedback on both tooling and process
  • Ability to respond to changing team priorities and properly allocate time to highest priority tasks
  • Collaborate on training materials for deployment of tasks at scale
  • Interact with and Interpret dashboards and reports to track throughput of high priority tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and interact with 3D modeling software, image-based editing software, data entry, and/or proprietary data platforms for self driving operations (including platforms that incorporate visual images containing flashing lights or patterns).
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid communication and critical thinking skills to convey feedback on complex scenarios

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Former labeling experience regardless of domain
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and computer vision
  • Strong process and metrics focus with a passion for getting things done

The hourly range for this position is $26.50 - $30.50.  Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
