Key Outputs
• Correctly identify the needs of the customer using all information possible (Serial number, model number etc…)
• Create quotes and follow up with customers daily
• Convert all quotes to sales orders with the correct pricing against the quote
• Ensure that all regions are checked for available stock before an Airfreight or emergency order is created
• Process parts orders and back orders efficiently and effectively as per above
• Maintain all open back orders that gets cancelled or grieved by JDC as well as the sales order
• Action grieved orders using SIS for the reason the order was grieved and liaise with JDC
• Ensure that all quotes are maintained and closed daily with the correct reason for not converting this to a sale
• Liaise with customers to generate quotes ,Do daily follow ups with customers on open quotes
• Follow up on all parts on backorder or emergency and provide / communicate progress to the customers on a daily basis
• Create credit returns in line with the credit return policy
• Maintain all backorders and Sales orders linked to outstanding purchase orders
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
• Grade 12/ Matric
• Good Business Communication and interpersonal Skills
• Relationship building skills
• Customer orientation
• Technical Ability ,Attention to detail
• Persuasive, Resilience
• Ability to sell value to customers providing them with suitable options
• At least 2 years’ experience in SAP SD/MM
• Excellent Excel knowledge
• Basic Business and Financial Acumen
