Job Responsibilities for DSPs

  • 1:1 Care with Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities
  • You will transport and accompany clients on errands and appointments
  • You will spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities in the community
  • You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
  • You will transport and participate in community based activities with the client

Qualifications for DSPs:

  • One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, paid training is available
  • High school diploma or equivalent
