BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking PRN / Floater Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in Montgomery and Bucks County, PA. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We will be able to provide you with 24-30 hours a month of work. 

 

We service individuals with I/DD such as Autism, Down Syndrome, and more, around Montgomery County, PA and Bucks County, PA in places like:

• Pottstown, PA
• Quakertown, PA
• Lansdale, PA 
• Blue Bell, PA
• Warrington, PA

Job Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional / DSP:

• Passion for providing mental/behavioral health care to individuals with ID/DD
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home/community
• • You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, etc.)
  • You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
  • You will spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
  • You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation or housework
  • You will participate in community integration activities

 

 

Qualifications for DSPs:

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, training MAY be available through our apprentice program
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to commit to being available/on-call
