The VP of Portfolio and Wealth Advisory is a senior member of the Advisory team responsible for day-to-day client portfolio management and monitoring including asset allocation, performance, and trading activity. Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day client portfolio management and monitoring including asset allocation, performance, and trading activity
  • Liaise with your clients’ team of external advisors (e.g., attorneys, tax accountants, etc.) to deliver integrated advisory services
  • Provide pro-active client coverage that may include discussions on market trends, changes in tax law, trust & estate matters, and other issues as they relate to a client’s overall wealth management plan
  • Manage the client meeting process including initiating and coordinating agendas and materials with senior team members and developing junior staff’s work product
  • Participate in client meetings with a focus on creating meaningful change
  • Act as a resource to other members of the firm by contributing to internal meetings regarding the firm’s strategies and offering your thoughts and suggestions
  • Assist new clients in defining investment goals as they transition into our firm
  • Nurture relationships with various service providers that may offer benefits to our client base
  • Contribute your insight to the sales and marketing process as it relates to prospective clients

Desired Qualifications:                          

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families with a strong emphasis on client service
  • Familiarity with various aspects of portfolio management
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment and to become an integral part of existing client relationship teams
  • Highly motivated, extremely ethical, and professionally maturity

Requirements:

You will need to take the Series 65 exam unless you meet one of the other qualifications below:

  • You have already passed the Series 65 and your exam has not expired
  • You have already passed both the Series 7 & 66 and your exams have not expired
  • You hold a certain professional designation such as CFA or CFP and your registration is active

Additional Information:

Base salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple reasons, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The expected base salary for the role will generally be between $125,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment, but the final salary offered may be outside this range based on these reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, base salary is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses, alternative incentive packages and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
