Organization Summary: BBYO is the leading pluralistic, Jewish teen movement and has been providing exceptional leadership programs and identity enrichment experiences for more than 90 years. We offer year-round activities in hundreds of local communities and inspiring world-wide travel experiences enabling teens to explore areas of leadership, service, civic engagement, Israel education and Jewish values.

Regional Convention: BBYO teens are invited to join other teens in their region for fun weekend conventions throughout the year that typically take place at a camp, hotel, or retreat center.

Conventions are planned and led by teens in BBYO to serve different purposes. Some conventions address the major business for the year and are opportunities to elect officers to the regional board. In other instances, conventions bring members together for a fun and meaningful weekend of programming, activities, Shabbat moments, and hanging out with friends!

Conventions are what members look forward to most during the school year. It’s where friendships are formed.
