Assist the DPO team in implementing and maintaining data protection policies and procedures.Help monitor compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant laws.Support the team in conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential data protection risks.Help mature awareness of privacy topics for all employees.Assist in the investigation and documentation of data protection incidents and breaches, and support the implementation of corrective actions.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of data protection activities and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.Conduct research on data protection laws, regulations, and best practices, and provide analysis to support the development of data protection strategies.Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Privacy, Compliance, or a related field.Basic understanding of data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, is desirable.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data protection tools and software is a plus.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.A keen interest in the cryptocurrency industry and a willingness to learn about its unique data protection challenges.Preferred Qualifications
Previous internship or work experience in data protection, legal, or compliance is a plus.Relevant certifications in data protection/privacy (e.g., CIPP/E) are advantageous.
