Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs in line with local, regional and international regulations such as AML/CTF, KYC, and sanctions complianceMonitor and review internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, specifically in BrazilLiaise and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and manage any regulatory inquiries and reporting obligations for the organisation in the regionCoordinate with regional & global compliance teams to align compliance objectives, processes, and goals, ensuring consistent practices across the organisationConduct ongoing risk assessments to identify potential gaps in the compliance framework and develop action plans to address identified areas of riskProvide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, promoting a culture of integrity, compliance, and transparency throughout the organisationImplement continuous improvement to the compliance program's effectiveness, recommending changes as needed to ensure adaptation to a rapidly evolving regulatory environment Requirements:
Minimum of 13 years experience in a risk, fraud, compliance, AML or regulatory function, experience working with regulated financial services business in compliance roles is requiredProfessional certification in complianceKnowledge on Broker dealer business in required and knowledge in crypto desirableAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, global organization maintaining close contact with relevant teams across multiple locationsExcellent problem solving skills and ability to provide useful and efficient counselGood understanding in performing risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews and enhanced due diligenceProficiency in compliance applications and programsTo carry out the necessary studies to ensure compliance with the regulations issued and to provide necessary communication and coordination with FIUProactive, diligent team playerNative Portuguese and fluent English is a must + Spanish preferredWhy Binance
