Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policiesManagement Reporting: Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports to provide insights into financial performance, trends, and variancesRegulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, including preparing and submitting reports to regulatory authorities, including FATCA/CRSReconciliations: Oversee the reconciliation process for all financial accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptlyTax Filings: Prepare and file all VAT and Corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulationsAudit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support to facilitate a smooth and timely audit processBudgets and Forecasts: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate financial projections and analysis to support business decisionsInternal Controls: Ensure the implementation and maintenance of strong internal controls over financial reporting and operationsTeam Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including accounting, tax, legal, and operations to support business goals and objectivesRequirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCertifications: ACCA, CPA, ACA, or CFA qualification is preferredExperience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, reporting, and analysisKnowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS reporting standards, tax regulations, and complianceSkills:Proficient in financial software and MS ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisUnderstanding of accounting principles and tax regulationsPersonality: Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
