We are looking for a temporary part time Benefits Contractor to join our People Team!
As a Benefits Contractor, you’ll:
- Conducts day-to-day administration of health and welfare benefit programs (e.g. medical, dental, vision, life, accident, and disability).
- Provides employee support, benefit plan interpretation, guidance and counsel to employees, and responds in regard to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements.
- Partners with third party brokers to resolve complex issues.
- Additional responsibilities include: managing open enrollment, leave of absences and workers compensation claims, and overseeing interface file issues between company and carrier systems.
You’ll be a good fit if you have:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities with individual deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Embrace an employee-centric approach to focus on the employee experience.
- Knowledge of the UKG HR system (Ben Admin) is preferred, but not necessary.
- Experience working with benefit carriers and brokers is a plus.
This is a temporary, part time position working 20 - 25 hours per week and is expected to last 9 months (ending Dec 2025)

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role: the estimated pay range for this role, if based in Oregon, is $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above.
This is a contract role and the successful candidate will be employed by a 3rd party employer of record. This role does not qualify for benefits from the 3rd party employer. Contract roles do not qualify for equity.

The salary range provided represents base compensation and does not include potential equity, which is available for qualifying positions.
