Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning (3-5 years):Direct global market supply planning to enable its mission to optimize service levels, inventory and cost from source to marketOwn global strategic capacity planning for manufacturing and distribution networks, including raw material procurement and material requirements planningLead product portfolio optimization and catalog management across all regionsEstablish and manage inventory policies for North America (NA) (coverage, health, safety stock, purchasing, and distribution terms) and oversee regional policiesLead the enterprise annual strategic 5-year supply review with key stakeholderOperational Planning (0-18 months):Direct and manage the global supply plan, including purchase orders and inventory managementManage distribution requirements planning and optimize inventory levels and cost from source to marketDirect operational sourcing capacity plans, ensuring adherenceCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Development, Sales, Sourcing, Transportation, and Distribution) to maximize service while optimizing costs and asset utilizationLead the monthly S&OP supply review to align operational plans and identify supply & inventory risksInfluence decisions related to performance improvement and resolve obstacles around service fill rate, inventory coverage, inventory health (excess, inactive, aged inventory), air freight cost, and cost to serveSet the annual budget for air freight and inventory, and track and measure performance vs. plan through the NA Quarterly Rolling Forecast (QRF) processOwn the global supply allocation policies and oversee regional supply controlManage product portfolio complexity across the product lifecycleCollaborate with the Integrated Planning System and Operations team to ensure master data accuracy within ERP and planning systemsSet and monitor performance metrics (service fill rate, inventory health, and cost to serve) and drive the market supply planning roadmap for continuous improvementExecution Planning (0-6 months):Lead the NA service risk management and escalation processes with proactive and cross-functional problem-solvingLead the weekly Sales and Operational Execution (S&OE) meeting and drive alignment and execution against operational plansDirect the NA purchase order prioritization and transportation expedite processesManage real-time monitoring of supply execution and adjust plans as neededEscalate service and inventory risks through the S&OP/E and drive the corrective action plansDrive NA decision-making around the feasibility of demand and supply plans through scenario planning in partnership with Product, Sales, Demand Planning, Sourcing, Transportation, and DistributionPeople Management & Transformation:Lead MSP talent development and succession planningDrive MSP adherence to operational excellence standards Create a culture of continuous learning and empowerment within the Market Supply Planning teams and their partners enterprise wideOwn Brooks global market supply planning continuous improvement per Brooks’ people, process, and system standards, including change design and deployment leadershipPartner with Brooks Center of Excellence team to develop the Integrated Planning StandardInfluence integrated planning standards and master data governance for system-driven market supply planning capabilitiesQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience, MSC/MBA or related master’s degree preferred12+ years of supply chain planning experience 7+ years of in-depth operational and leadership supply planning experience including:International Supply Planning at Director/Sr. Manager level Finished Goods (FG)Manufacturing/Procurement planning experience at Manager/Analyst level (Raw Material/Component procurement & FG production scheduling)Global multi-regions distribution network & affiliates management experienceInternational multi-sourcing experienceHigh complexity managed multi-channel/portfolio brand product/multi–Market DC networkin a Fast-Moving Consumer Good Manufacturing and Retail Brand environment2+ years in Demand Planning is preferred2+ years of career operational experience in a manufacturing or distribution/logistic environment desirable 3+ years of developing and/or deploying Operational Excellence (process, system, people capabilities) or leading functional change internationallyProven operational transformation experience in:Supply planning (long-term finished goods planning to short-term manufacturing planning),S&OP and supply planning transformation including:Supply planning design to implementationPlanning system implementationCross functional and regional collaboration & leadership Change managementProven ability to communicate and influence with people at all levels, ranging from analysts to high-level executives in a matrix organizationStrong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as strong skills as a negotiator to reach consensus, buy-in, and commitment at all levelsDeep understanding of current supply chain technology tools including ERP, DRP, MRP, manufacturing scheduling, and S&OP systems, Kinaxis is preferredStrong ability to lead teams and develop talent and organization across multiple geographies and culturesTravel up to 10% (Domestically/Internationally)Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $165,928 - $265,505 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
