NOTE: You must be based in the greater California, Washington, Oregon, or Nevada for this position. Seattle preferred.

Your Job:

The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving Brooks Apparel sales and growth within their designated key accounts within the US.  You will manage specific sell-in and sell-thru aspects of business across Brooks categories of apparel, bras, accessories, and socks. This includes managing seasonal sell-in and in-season sell-through across select key accounts assigned, generating strong and consistent growth results against our annual goals in terms of revenue and profit. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales mgmt./Apparel Director to deliver against the yearly strategic sales goals for accounts including apparel, bras, and socks which will align with the company's revenue targets
  • Achieve and analyze backlog goals for your account(s), by seasonal deadline
  • Create backend support through bulk process management, as well as forecasting key product drivers that ladder up into brand initiatives
  • Manage inventory levels and monitor sell through percentages during in-season to drive replenishment (at once) and maintain bulks (future) orders, while reducing returns
  • Develop a monthly business review for your account that provides feedback to internal teams around the health of your account and competition
  • Influence external key stakeholders to create seasonal brand and product initiatives that ladder up to brand goals, across physical and digital platforms
  • Develop and lead seasonal product presentation, creating a strong assortment of adoption across each category of product
  • Work Cross Functionally with Footwear Key Account Manager for shared accounts to bring brand awareness to Brooks Apparel in store through collaborated marketing, Events, etc. 
  • Partner with Brooks Key Account Guru Leads to ensure alignment of revenue and marketing plans for the account
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders within Brooks, such as Credit, Runner Experience, and Distribution Center
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders such as owners, buyers, marketing teams to provide best-in-class service around account needs
  • Help collaborate with internal teams to develop impactful marketing strategies to help push sell thru across seasonal assortments
  • Be an expert on your key account and provide field feedback on our products, information on competitor's products, programs, and services, as well as marketplace activities
  • Partner with Apparel Director and Product Teams on Sales Meeting Presentation to Gurus on Key Account Apparel Focus Seasonally
  • Travel includes Key Account for Sell in or Key Meetings with additional travel to attend tradeshows, bi-annual sales meetings, Seattle for Key Product Meetings
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience required
  • Experience with apparel sales preferred
  • Experience managing key/strategic accounts preferred
  • Experience in merchandising preferred (retail in store or brand level)
  • Experience working in Microsoft Data Cube, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Tableau preferred. Strong understanding of basic MS Office programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% during peak season
  • Must live on the West Coast in the following states (CA, WA, OR, NV), Seattle preferred
  • Compensation:
    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. The total cash compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $171,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Offer will consider the specific geographic market and will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
