Burr Pilger Mayer India Pvt. Ltd. (BPM India) is a subsidiary of BPM LLP. Founded in 1986, BPM is one of the largest California-based accounting and consulting firms, ranking in the top 50 in the country. With 15 offices across the Bay Area, BPM serves emerging and mid-cap businesses as well as high-net-worth individuals in a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, life science, manufacturing, food, wine, and craft brewing, automotive, nonprofits, real estate, and construction. The Firm’s International Tax Practice is one of the largest on the West Coast and its well-recognized SEC practice serves approximately 35 public reporting companies, mostly in the technology industry.
 

You have (requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional services environment with progressively increased management responsibilities.  Experience in public accounting is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, people and project management skills, and an ability to identify and implement creative solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations, systems, and procedures. 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Participative and consultative management style; interacts well with all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to deal positively with adversity and difficult situations.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
  • Experience with CCH Axcess suite of products is preferred.
  • You will (responsibilities):

  • Supervise and provide coaching to an administrative team.
  • Ensure excellent service is provided on a consistent basis to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist the teams as necessary, particularly during busy seasons.
  • Supervise office purchases, reconcile reports, and participate in the budgeting process for office spending.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with all vendors/suppliers.
  • Handle the overall management of the Firm’s physical facilities and related functions, including but not limited to: general office space planning, renovation of office space when necessary, communications with building management.
  • Manage logistics for all office events.
  • Collaborate in Firm-wide initiatives working with other leaders and Managers.
