Position Overview:
Audit Quality Monitoring (AQM) is a distinct service that aims to assist the engagement teams across BPM with various quality-related initiatives. As an AQM Manager, you will focus on key areas of professional risk and systems of quality management and controls. You will work with the Audit Quality Partner and Audit engagement team to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit work. 

Primary responsibilities

  • The Manager will work with the AQM team to assist the global firm in various quality-related initiatives, such as:
  • Pre-issuance Review Programs (PIRs), including hot file reviews
  • Assistance in preparing for PCAOB inspection
  • Audit Quality Reviews
  • Understand the client’s industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic and regulatory developments and their impact on the client or lead, manage, and supervise the execution of Audit Quality Projects
  • Deliver exceptional client service by providing quality services; maximize results and drive high performance from people while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders or establish relationships with internal stakeholders anticipating audit quality needs, responding to queries, and being alert to both quality and technical matters, as necessary 
  • Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience in assurance in other mid or top-tier accounting firms
  • Chartered accountant/CPA/ACCA
  • Strong knowledge of assurance-related concepts and US GAAS and GAAP requirements
  • Demonstrated ability in delivering to agreed project or experience in performing live file reviews
  • Experience in client relationship development or experience in managing audit quality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to quickly form strong working relationships with colleagues within and outside the US
