We are hiring an onsite HR Director to join our talented team!

Job Description:
 
The Director Human Resources is responsible for the administration and execution of all aspects of the company’s human resources strategy, in accordance with the policies and practices of Price Transfer, Inc. and provisions of applicable regulatory agencies.  In addition, this position will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives.
 
Essential Job Functions:
·       Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
·       Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
·       Anticipate and address evolving HR needs and challenges to support the organization and remain in compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements.
·       Develop and track key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
·       Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
·       Update and keep current the Employee Handbook as needed based on new federal, state and local regulatory laws and mandates.
·       Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
·       Proactively and effectively evaluate employee relations issues for litigation prevention and union avoidance while providing high level of internal customer service to all employees.
·       Consults with legal counsel as needed to ensure compliance on employment matters.
·       Oversee all company benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, and the voluntary plans), and ensure that the program design, vendor selection and program administration reflect the Company’s targeted competitive position and financial objectives.
·       Work closely with CFO on annual benefit plan reviews and corresponding mid-year claims review with carriers and broker to proactively maximize medical claims cost containment.
·       Manage, oversee and communicate company 401(K) plan under the direction of the Plan Trustees/CFO.  This includes all plan administration including quarterly open enrollments, the annual plan audit process, and communication between broker, TPA and Lincoln, etc.
·       Oversee the development and implementation of compensation and benefit programs.
·       Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs and develop relevant training programs.
·       Develop and implement performance management processes that align with organizational goals and values.
·       Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
·       Manage relationships with Staffing Agencies for compliance, reliability and accountability to the needs of the business and ability to meet temporary staffing requirements.
·       Develop and implement a talent acquisition program, ensuring the attraction and retention of high-quality talent.
·       Develop and implement talent management and succession planning strategies.
·       Implement and manage employee recognition reward programs.
·       Participate as a member of the Safety Committee and Activities Committee.
·       Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Degree in human resources or other related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • HR certification strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources Management experience with 3+ years in a leadership role desired.
  • Experience managing HR functions for an organization (500+ employees) preferred.
  • Bi-Lingual preferred – Proficiently able to read, write and translate documents in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate HR initiatives into tangible business results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient with Word & Excel and HRIS platform. Exposure to ADP a plus.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Incumbents require enough mobility to perform moderate or light lifting between 5-20 lbs.
  • Walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  •  Operate office equipment including use of a computer keyboard. Ability to verbally communicate to exchange information; and operate office equipment.
  • Price Transfer is a federal contractor, and thus requires a comprehensive background check, which includes a mandatory drug screen.
