What you'll do

As an Ads & Retail Media Intern, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the growth of Careem’s Ads business. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who wants to learn and contribute to the advertising and retail media space. You’ll gain exposure to various aspects of ad sales, campaign management, and data analysis, working closely with the Sales Manager and broader Ads team to execute high-impact initiatives.

  • Sales Support: Assist the Sales Manager in identifying potential advertising partners, preparing sales pitches, and organizing sales materials.
  • Campaign Management: Support the execution of ad campaigns, ensuring they run smoothly and deliver value to clients.
  • Client Engagement: Help maintain relationships with key clients by responding to inquiries, preparing reports, and providing post-campaign analysis.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify trends in retail media, advertising, and competitor strategies, sharing insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Compile and analyze campaign performance data, preparing presentations that demonstrate ROI and key outcomes for clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across Careem, including product, marketing, and operations, to deliver high-quality ad solutions.
  • CRM Management: Assist in updating and maintaining the CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities and pipeline.

 

What you'll need 

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Interest in Media & Advertising: Passion for digital advertising, retail media, or monetization strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficient in using Excel, Google Sheets, or other tools for data analysis. Experience with analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Organization: Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, eager to learn, and proactive in taking on new challenges.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well with cross-functional team
