What You'll Do:

As an Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the Field Team’s performance, efficiency, and productivity while providing essential reports related to people, operations, and the overall network condition. These reports are shared with the Operations Manager, Engineers, and Management team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting training and implementing/enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organizational standards and legal regulations.
  • Completing operations tasks by developing schedules, assigning/monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving problems, maintaining reference manuals, and introducing new procedures.
  • Controlling expenses by submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Enforcing quality and customer service standards to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits, generating operational reports, and presenting findings to management.
  • Collaborating closely with team leaders to optimize operations.
  • Reviewing and adjusting operational vehicle routes for enhanced efficiency while adapting to fluctuating workloads.
  • Leading incident resolution by coordinating with developers and external stakeholders to address issues or complaints promptly.
  • Managing and maintaining operations vehicles, including service checks, fuel, maintenance, and incident resolution.
  • Obtaining necessary permits within developer communities as required to support operations.
  • Creating a positive, collaborative work environment to encourage team performance and innovation.

What You'll Need:

Minimum Requirements (Mandatory):

  • At least 5 years of experience in an operations supervisor or similar role.
  • Proven experience managing teams, particularly onsite teams.
  • A valid UAE Driving License.
  • Experience in bicycle and sustainability transportation advocacy.
  • Familiarity with IT solutions and app-based services.
  • Excellent communication skills, including cross-cultural communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety at Work.
  • Willingness to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods to monitor and support daily operations.
  • Experience managing vendors and partners.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to execute critical tasks under deadlines.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented mindset.
  • Effective leadership skills with a fair and efficient approach.
  • Patience and ability to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and after hours.
  • A proactive attitude in identifying opportunities to increase ridership and improve user experiences.
