We are looking for a passionate, experienced Analyst to join Casper as we continue building our analytics and data science capabilities. As an Analyst, Digital Analytics you will work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, ecommerce, product, operations, finance) to improve the customer journey, optimize online sales, and enhance overall business performance. Your insights will inform decisions about digital marketing strategies, customer behavior, product performance, and website optimization. You will be driving test ideation, site optimization, and owning insight generation for key stakeholders.

When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do...
- Analyze customer data to uncover patterns in purchasing behavior, customer segmentation, and retention trends. Develop actionable insights to improve user experience and personalization efforts.
- Work with the Tech teams (Site and Data Engineering) to own the digital analytics implementation, and ensure the foundation is in place to measure all KPIs.
- Partner with the digital marketing team to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, and social media, by tracking ROI, click-through rates, and other campaign metrics.
- Develop the digital reporting framework and make strategy recommendations to inform major product and marketing decisions.
- Proactively analyze site and feature performance to improve conversion rate.
- Communicate clear insights and recommendations that tell the story behind the data in weekly and monthly business reviews.
Our dream candidate is/has...
- 2-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably at an e-commerce brand with a high volume of complex data
- Experienced in partnering with product teams (PMs, designers, researchers, engineers)
- A highly motivated self-starter; flexible, adaptable, and able to work in an entrepreneurial environment
- Expert with site analytics tools and Excel; bonus if you have knowledge of GA4 and Shopify
- Knowledge of SQL; bonus if you’ve used Python for data exploration or dbt for analytics engineering
- Experience with Looker or other modern BI tools with a semantic layer
- This is a hybrid role, requiring that you work 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from our NYC office

Targeted Annual Base Salary Range: $75,000-95,000 USD
Casper’s compensation philosophy ensures that the actual base salary is based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, experience, special training, time in position, and/or years of service.
