The Senior Manual QA will work closely with Product and Development management, and as part of agile teams to support the delivery of high quality products, namely our ad delivery platform. The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of QA best practices, the software development lifecycle, user needs and usability. Experience in design and working as QA in a WordPress environment is considered an advantage.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Ensure and Take Responsibility for Overall Product Quality: Verify and commit to maintaining the high standards of product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participation in Scrum Team and Ceremonies: Collaborate closely with development and product by being an integral part of the Scrum team and participating in all their ceremonies.
  • Product Requirements Analysis: Analyze and process product requirements to ensure a thorough understanding and identify any gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Lead Exploratory Testing and Author Test Plans: Drive exploratory testing initiatives and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover all product functionalities.
  • Collect QA Metrics and Reporting: Gather quality assurance and testing metrics, providing detailed reports to the delivery team to inform decision-making and improve processes.
  • Defect Management: Manage the intake, triage, and verification of defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Introduce and Share QA Best Practices: Implement best practices within the team & other QA’s and promote knowledge sharing to enhance overall performance.
  • Collaborate Across Multiple Products: Work effectively with teams handling a range of products, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to deliver high-quality results across different product lines.
  • TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:


  • The candidates should have at least 3 years of full-time experience as a QA engineer, with a strong focus on agile software development. They should excel in manual functional, regression, and acceptance testing, as well as be capable of producing detailed test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and release notes. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams are key.

  • Code version control concepts
  • English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with test case management tools like Qase.io or others
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools
