The Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Marketer with a background in digital and SaaS to help develop go-to-market strategies, launch products, create collateral, research the market, and establish a thorough understanding of our customers and competition. You will be expected to communicate with confidence and authority, operate autonomously, and work across departments and time zones.
We’re looking for someone who thrives being both a strategic leader and an individual contributor. You'll also need to be capable of simultaneously maintaining multiple projects and functions in a fast-paced working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define go-to-market strategies and product communication plans, develop marketing materials, and lead high-impact feature releases that drive adoption and revenue
- Be the product champion within the marketing team: stay up-to-date with the roadmap, updates, and timelines
- Work closely with Product Managers on targeted research, and user testing as part of roadmap development and execution
- Coordinate initiatives across a cross-functional team including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Experience departments
- Become an expert in the needs and aspirations of our business users and target personas: marketers and designers.
- Turn customer insights into strategic content to help our GTM teams perform better.
- Help craft the value proposition for new features and products.
- Build, monitor, and optimize omni-channel marketing campaigns.
- Research market trends and conduct user interviews to understand key customer segments — to inform what we build, and how we position and sell it
- Convey product knowledge back to the marketing team sharing actionable insights to inform lead generation and adoption campaigns
- Ensure the rest of the marketing team has a clear understanding of new and existing features, and that the internal documentation is up-to-date
Practical stuff we anticipate you having
- 5-7 years of product marketing experience at a SaaS company
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Solid market research and interviewing skills
- Feel at home in a technical environment
- Ability to project manage various initiatives simultaneously
- Preference for a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable recording on-demand and live webinars/video content
- Ability to translate technical details for a relatively non-technical audience
- Must be a team player who works well with executives and peers
- Experience working with Analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Pendo, or similar software
- Experience working with in-app notification tools like Pendo, Appcues, Beamer, or similar
- Experience working with Hubspot or similar CRMs is a plus
- Experience working with Ceros Studio and/or MarkUp is a big plus!
