Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a Software Engineer III at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to serve as a member of an engineering team.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and build new features and automate performance marketing capabilities.
- Write scalable, performant, readable and tested code.
- Hold a high bar for the quality of the architecture and design of systems.
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
- Decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions that operationally scale and are easily maintained.
- Generate and analyze engineering metrics to inform leadership and make data driven decisions.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and convey dissenting opinions in a constructive manner.
- Operate in compliance with IT standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure that technical solutions follow best practices, are reliable, are easily maintainable and are scalable under sustained load.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Provide mentorship and guidance for peers and more junior engineers.
- Telecommuting permitted 3 days per week.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 7 years of experience.
- Will also accept a Master’s degree and 5 years of experience.
- Experience must include 5 years with: software development;
- Computer science fundamentals and programing;
- Developing software in an agile environment with CI/CD;
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or Java;
- Experience with both serverless (Glue, Lambda) and scalable/distributed systems in AWS;
- RDMS and NoSQL database technologies in AWS; and
- Familiarity building solutions using Kafka, Spark, and Spark Streaming.
- Telecommuting permitted 3 days per week.

Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary range for a Software Engineer III position is $156,263 to $215,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
