About the Role
Chime is looking for an IT Program Manager to manage multiple projects across IT Support, IT Engineering, IT Business Systems and cross functional partners such as Security, Workplace Services, People Team, Engineering.
A key aspect will be to align with multiple departments (e.g. People Ops, Security, Workplace) to determine project requirements. You will create project charters and timelines, manage resources, and drive projects to completion. You have strong organizational planning skills, exceptional communications skills, relationship management skills and an understanding of cloud technology and business systems. You are curious, self-driven and a rock star program manager.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $112,140 and up to $155,800. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to
- Lead cross-functional teams from project initiation through closure, regularly reporting on project strategy and progress to stakeholders
- Manage dependencies and help the teams prioritize between unplanned tasks/ operational work and long-term planned project work, keeping the teams focused on what is important
- Identify risks/ blockers, working with stakeholders to mitigate obstacles
- Measure project performance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimize IT team processes and document workflows
- Coordinate across IT, Workplace Services, Security, external vendors on Office Buildout projects
- Travel to office locations to oversee and support build-out efforts on an as-needed basis
- Manage the onboarding of IT vendors, overseeing vendor contracts and renewals, and ensuring seamless collaboration with legal teams and business owner
- Work on new projects that may be ambiguous at times but you are ready to take on the challenge and be flexible as needed while driving the teams forward
To thrive in this role you have:
- 3+ years of experience in IT Program Management with a proven record delivering small to large scale projects across cross-functional teams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, communicating clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills, bringing different backgrounds across cross functional groups to work in harmony, building consensus among competing perspectives and rallying teams positively towards objectives.
- A growth mindset; you are a self-motivated learner and a reliable team player who keeps the big picture in mind to achieve the program goals.
- Experience with Agile development and scrum project management
- Experience using project management tools, JIRA, collaboration tools
- Experience at companies at different stages from late stage startup to established corporations
