The range for this role is $64,000 - $87,000
Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 10% of annual eligible earnings. Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance.
Interested candidates must be willing and able to work onsite 5 days per week in either our Melbourne, FL or Orlando, FL office.

The Job
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning Christian Care Ministry (CCM) business objectives with employees and management. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to operational leaders and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
This role serves as a consultant to management and employees; balancing employee advocacy and operational needs. The HRBP administers human resources policies and programs, promotes equity, advocates for fair treatment and positive employee relations. This role supports employee relations, employee retention, leave administration, performance management, conflict management and leadership development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: reporting, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, employment law compliance, business strategies and special projects as assigned.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Consult with supervisors and managers, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Keeps management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors and managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, terminations).
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Review and process all employee changes and termination paperwork, and manage termination process.
- Represent HR during new hire orientation on-boarding.
- Manages leaves of absences under the Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state laws, and CCM policies.
- Collaborate with employees and managers pertaining to benefits, rewards and recognition, and other HR initiatives.
- Responsible for generating and reporting metrics, including, but not limited to headcount and attrition reports.
- Analyze human resource metrics to proactively identify negative trends and work collaboratively with leadership to create positive solutions.
- Assist with communicating changes to employees and conducting employee presentations.
- Analyze exit interview data and make recommendations to the management team to for engagement and retention purposes.
- Conduct focus groups and analysis for continuous improvement.
- Represent CCM at Human Resources-related hearings and unemployment claims.
- Facilitate and/or provide HR-related training to the workforce.
- Work with leadership in developing department goals and objectives; and partner with other Human Resources personnel to complete projects in other areas as assigned.
- Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures and maintenance of employee handbook.
- Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
- Develop strong relationships with CCM’s leadership team and staff.
- Exemplify the desired culture and CCM's vision, mission, and values.
- Pray with and for staff where appropriate.
- Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry’s Christian beliefs

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or closely related field with 7 years’ experience in Human Resources in which 5 years’ were performed in a Generalist capacity required.
- PHR or equivalent HR Certification within 1 year of hire required.
