LOCATION: This position is an onsite role, based in Indianapolis, IN at the Clif Bar Plant.
Mission: Manage the warehouse operators and warehouse team lead on shift. Role will work closely with the Supply Chain and Production teams to manage warehousing activities. These activities include, but are not limited to inbound shipments, storage of finished goods, ingredients and packaging and all outbound shipping activities of the Twin Falls, Idaho bakery. This candidate will be extremely flexible and enjoy a “high change” environment where priorities shift from day to day.
Responsibilities & Outcomes:
- Ensure personal safety, food safety and quality protocols are followed.
- Supervise and develop shipping and receiving team members through coaching, training, and team building.
- Manage staff performance and culture to align with Clif Bar aspirations and ingredients.
- Ensure workplace organization and housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Assist with the development and training of shipping and receiving SOP’s and policies.
- Verify warehouse inventories are accurate and properly managed according to inventory control policies. Facilitate cycle and zero-bin inventory counts.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance shift managers to ensure all needs are met for continuous plant operation.
- Adhere to scheduled inbound and outbound shipment schedules to achieve on-time delivery and load accuracy goals.
- Be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when interacting with staff, suppliers, and community partners.
- Perform all other related duties as requested.

- Experience in an ERP system, preferably SAP, in receiving, warehousing, inventory, and outbound delivery functions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 4 years previous experience working in logistics, materials management, vendor relationships, and warehousing.
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment required.
