The Actuarial team at Clover is made up of collaborative and strategic thinkers who are excited about the impact technology can have on healthcare. In this role, you will partner and help support a core area of responsibility for our Actuarial team.

As a Actuary, you will:

• Support and lead aspects of the premium and benefit pricing for a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C and Part D).
• Support and lead aspects of the development of annual and long term forecasts.
• Provide actuarial support on a wide variety of topics including pricing, forecasting, reserving, and risk adjustment.
• Communicate analysis, findings, and supporting data in a manner that is meaningful to leadership and partnering teams.
• Help us build automated actuarial tools that allow for fast variation and iteration on answers to important business questions.
• Participate in Clover's Actuarial Student Program.
• Be accountable for key work products and mentor junior team members

You should get in touch if:

• You have achieved, or are near to achieving, the ASA credential
• You have at least three years of experience in health insurance; Medicare experience is preferred.
• You have an interest in building automated tools around actuarial analysis.
• You have basic programming skills, such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
