We're seeking a visionary Senior Generative AI Engineer to pioneer AI-powered solutions in healthcare. In this role, you’ll leverage cutting-edge generative AI technologies to develop scalable services that push the boundaries of what’s possible in healthcare technology.

As a Senior GenAI Engineer, you will:

  • Architect and implement AI-driven solutions that seamlessly integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI technologies into our healthcare applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into innovative technical solutions.
  • Optimize AI-powered features for both customer-facing and internal applications, ensuring peak performance and efficiency.
  • Independently lead complex projects, driving innovation in healthcare AI.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Leading the design and implementation of at least one significant GenAI-powered feature or service.
  • Establishing strong working relationships with executive leadership, product, data science, and healthcare teams.
  • Staying at the forefront of GenAI advancements and successfully integrating new technologies into Clover’s products.

You should get in touch if:

  • You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on AI and machine learning.
  • You have mastery of Python or Go, and JavaScript (TypeScript preferred).
  • You have a proven track record of integrating and working with state-of-the-art LLMs (e.g., GPT-3, GPT-4, BERT) and open-source alternatives (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral) in production environments.
  • You have a strong foundation in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and applications.
  • You have a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
  • You are proficient in major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • You have expertise in vector databases, efficient retrieval methods for LLMs, and familiarity with PostgreSQL.
  • Bonus points if you have:
    • Knowledge of healthcare data and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
    • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to complex challenges.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, certifications, etc.
