The Director, Product Management will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end product development process, managing the backlog, facilitating Agile processes, and collaborating with both the US-based and offshore teams to drive successful product delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Collaborate with global interdisciplinary teams of designers and engineers to ensure timely and successful product delivery
- Work with client-facing teams to understand client needs, expectations, and communicate product strategies
- Serve as the point of contact for both internal teams and clients for product-related matters
- Lead the creation of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with both client goals and business priorities
- Act as the product owner for key projects or product features, ensuring scope, timeline, and deliverables are met
- Monitor key product metrics to assess product performance and inform future iterations
- Lead product discovery sessions, gathering insights, and defining product requirements based on client needs and business goals
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies including: sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
- Write clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements
- Own and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the highest value features are delivered first
- Work closely with global engineering teams (both internal and client teams), ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across time zones
- Manage the technical aspects of product delivery, including defining technical requirements and ensuring product feasibility in collaboration with your projects technical leader
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of direct reports providing coaching, feedback, and guidance to foster growth
- Work closely with product managers to ensure they have the support needed to deliver on their projects
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Experience in product management, with at least 3 years managing direct reports, preferably in a digital agency or consulting environment
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and client services
- Hands-on experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and sprint execution
- Experience with Agile principles and values, and frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with Atlassian’s suite of products, including Jira and Confluence
- Strong technical understanding of web and mobile technologies, APIs, CMS platforms, and digital product development
- Experience working with commonly used CMS platforms such as Contentful, Drupal, WordPress, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience managing both clients and internal teams
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple product initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage and balance short-term client needs with long-term strategic product goals
- Experience managing global teams or working across multiple time zones
- Experience in digital product development in industries like e-commerce, media, or financial services
- Experience with Github
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), ScrumAlliance - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

The target range of base compensation for this role is $175,000-$200,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
