YOUR ROLE AT CIC
As the Director of Sales and Events, you’ll be a key leader driving growth and ensuring that CIC remains the premier choice for flexible workspace and event solutions. This player/coach role requires a balance of hands-on sales execution and strategic leadership to build and manage a high-performing sales and events team. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll develop and implement pipeline growth strategies, foster key partnerships, and optimize sales and events operations.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
• Lead & Develop the Sales and Events Team: Provide mentorship, training, and support to the sales and events team, ensuring they achieve their goals and grow in their roles.
• Drive Sales & Own the Pipeline: Actively manage and execute workspace and events sales strategies, from qualifying leads to closing deals, ensuring a steady stream of new business.
• Strategic Pipeline Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand CIC’s reach, including:
- Growing the commercial real estate broker network to drive high-quality referrals.
- Forming lead-generating partnerships within the innovation ecosystem.
- Setting up and overseeing outbound outreach initiatives.
- Ensuring CIC’s event clients are seamlessly transitioned into the workspace sales pipeline.
• Coordinate Marketing Efforts: Work with marketing teams to align on campaigns, lead generation efforts, and brand positioning to maximize impact.
• Engage with the Innovation Community: Build and nurture relationships with brokers, business leaders, and community partners to enhance CIC’s presence and generate leads for both workspace and events.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze sales metrics, optimize processes, and drive improvements in conversion rates and revenue generation.
• Deliver an Exceptional Client Experience: Ensure every prospective client receives a seamless, consultative, and high-touch experience that aligns with CIC’s values.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a dynamic and driven sales leader who thrives in both strategic and hands-on roles. You know how to close deals, build relationships, and lead teams to success. Here’s what we’re looking for:
• Sales Leadership Experience: 5+ years in sales, including 3+ years in a leadership role with a proven track record of building and managing sales teams.
• Proven Success in B2B Sales: Experience in commercial real estate, coworking, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong Network & Relationship Builder: Comfortable engaging with brokers, business leaders, and the innovation community.
• Strategic & Hands-On: Able to develop high-level strategies while actively participating in day-to-day sales activities.
• Tech-Savvy & Data-Driven: Familiar with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and marketing automation tools to track performance and drive efficiency.
• Exceptional Communication & Negotiation Skills: Adept at tailoring messaging to different audiences and closing deals with confidence.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Excited by challenges, proactive in finding solutions, and passionate about business growth.
• Proficient in German and English: Able to communicate effectively in both languages to engage with a diverse client base.
