About the Role:
Coupa Sourcing Optimization is the most advanced strategic sourcing tool on the market! Come and be a part of an elite team that supports many of our Fortune 500 customers in their most complex procurement initiatives.
 
In this senior delivery role, you will have the opportunity not only in supporting customers in the successful implementation and adoption of Coupa Sourcing Optimization but also to help shape the future support models we will offer to our customers.Your contributions will be instrumental in helping organisations realise the full potential of their spend, enabling them to not only excel financially but also make a positive impact on the world around them.

What You'll Do:

  • As an expert in Sourcing Optimization your main responsibility will be to support customers in design, execution, and evaluation of complex sourcing events using Coupa Sourcing Optimization. 
  • Work with the largest companies in the world, on some of the largest procurement projects they have! (e.g. logistics, direct material and packaging to name a few)
  • Suggest and develop tender strategies to help ensure all available mechanisms are utilised in their sourcing optimization projects
  • Build and execute eAuctions
  • Design advanced TCO models
  • Develop scenarios and run advanced optimization analysis
  • Utilise game theory principles in designing bid forms
  • Project lead new customers from start to finish on new sourcing optimization projects from internal data collection to negotiations.
  • Forge strong partnerships with a wide variety of customers and colleagues.
  • Create and/or improve implementation templates, training and presentations including help to develop Coupa implementation methodology
  • Mentor and train colleagues (and customers)

    • What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • 5+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing, either internally via an procurement or supply chain organisation or externally with a consulting firm or software provider, OR in depth knowledge of optimization in combination with a business discipline gained in an academic environment.
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, or Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics ideally in combination with a business related discipline or higher is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Sourcing, Category Management, and in running complex Sourcing events, in particular Logistics, Raw Materials, Packaging or other complex spend categories
  • Experience in applying advanced eSourcing tools to conduct scenario analysis and optimization of award decisions
  • Highly numerate and comfortable with using Excel and/or other platforms for complex scenario analysis
  • Candidates should have extremely strong client management skills and be able to work with customers to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful go live
  • Previous consulting experience with Coupa Sourcing Optimization highly desirable.
