What You'll Do:
Be the subject matter expert on supply chain design and planning - product, processes, and best practicesWork together with account managers, account executives and partners to establish and understand the customers’ requirementsSupport new business opportunities as well as sales cycles with existing customers for upsell, conversion and renewal purposesPresent in-depth product demonstrations (on-site and via the web) tailored to the customers’ requirementsDevelop use case demonstrations and proofs of concept in collaboration with sales, product management and product developmentRespond to technical and functional customer RFIs (requests for information)Assist with the creation of services budgets, customer project roadmaps, statements of work, and benefits/value estimationsWork collaboratively with Delivery teams (internal professional services or external partners) to ensure the smooth transition from pre to post saleLiaise with the Product Management team to maintain a detailed working knowledge of the software applications and the development roadmapsRepresent the company at industry conferences by providing product demonstrations and meeting with prospective buyers along with the sales teamSupport continuous improvement projects within the Solution Consulting team and beyondWhat You Will Bring to Coupa:
8+ years of experience in supply chain design planning and/or planningDomain expertise in one or more of the following: supply chain modeling, production planning, forecasting, transportation, distribution, inventory management, and strategic sourcingKnowledge of the principles of optimization and how it is performed using software packagesUnderstanding of simulation (and the differences between optimization and simulation)Experienced & comfortable in presenting to groups, leading discussions, and controlling meetingsOutstanding verbal communication and presentation skillsAbility to articulate clearly and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audienceAbility to think conceptually on the fly and adjust the message to audience needsExperience applying sales methodologies and/ or with sales processes is a plusSelf-motivated and creative; having the natural drive to learn and pick up new challengesAdaptive to change and comfortable in a fast-changing technology environmentBachelor’s Degree required (technical major desirable) or equivalent experience in industrial engineering, operations research, or supply chain management, Master’s degree a plusMust be willing to travel domestically and possibly internationally#LI-Remote
