This is a paid internship at our South San Francisco headquarters. The program is for approximately 10-12 weeks beginning in late May/early June.
Job Description:
The primary objectives and goals of this internship are to learn clinical study data collection and analysis by leveraging technologies. You will develop the basic skills of working in clinical study domain, especially focusing on using visualization and analytic tools to analyze study data. You may also learn other programming skills and clinical systems used in clinical studies. You will work with end users and SMEs to define clinical data visualization business requirements and data elements; support and test clinical data analytics including patient profile and study dashboard; help to work with clinical systems vendors and CROs partners to transfer, integrate, and transform clinical data and operational data to Cytokinetics systems; enhance and maintain clinical data automation scripts.
What You'll Gain:

Requirements:
The position requires a motivated individual with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additionally, we seek an individual with:
- Undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of data science/information systems/computer science
- Common MS application skills SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Python, Visual Basic, and other programming languages preferred.
- Basic SAS skills and statistical concepts in study design and statistical analysis
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems with team members
