POSITION SUMMARY

Cytokinetics Germany GmbH is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join its growing team in Germany. The candidate will plan and execute marketing and omnichannel promotional initiatives in close collaboration with the DACH leadership team and international marketing colleagues.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director DACH, the Product Manager will develop and implement the affiliate marketing plan for a successful, competitive launch of aficamten in Germany, in alignment with EU / global strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development of the German marketing strategy as part of the Launch/Brand Plan in collaboration with the Commercial Director DACH and EU/global marketing.
  • Build and execute the German marketing tactics based of the German brand plan, with a focus on understanding HCP information needs and delivering content across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with relevant EU and Global functions, such as Marketing and Digital Marketing, to localize unbranded and branded campaigns, create marketing materials, and manage marketing initiatives from concept to completion in Germany.
  • Plan and manage the execution of complex omnichannel initiatives across multiple platforms.
  • Lead planning, preparation and execution of congress presence at national or regional congresses, symposia and medical education events in close collaboration with Commercial and Medical Affairs teams.
  • Develop and implement marketing communication ideas, channels, and tools that address HCP needs and enhance traditional face-to-face interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver field force training on marketing campaigns and materials.
  • Manage budgets and financial processes for all marketing activities.
  • Support sales reporting and forecasting.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with Medical, Regulatory, and Legal requirements and processes. Manage necessary reviews and approvals as per applicable SOPs.
  • Ensure full compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), local market compliance, and data protection regulations.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, communications, or a related field will be highly regarded.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operative marketing, omnichannel, or related fields within the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry, ideally with a track record of launching specialty care products successfully in a competitive specialist market segment.
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record of developing omnichannel plans with effective tactics to engage with HCPs and meet their needs, with in-depth knowledge of digital tactics.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations governing HCP communication.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work productively under pressure.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with relevant software applications and company administration/finance as well as contract management systems.
  • Experience working with media buying partners and external marketing, print and congress organization agencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management with strong planning and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in PowerPoint or other platforms.
  • Highly structured, organized, efficient, solution-focused way of working and communicating.
  • A self-starter with uncompromised personal integrity and reliability, who embodies the company’s ethical standards, professionalism, and core values.
  • Fluency in both German and business English.
  • A committed ambassador of Cytokinetics core values.
