Job Overview:

TMA is seeking a Director, Impact Strategy – to lead development and optimization of local marketing and event performance measurement. You will lead reporting, including the set up and development of measurement strategies in partnership with account and activation teams. You will direct efforts to score opportunities, project impact, and measure performance to make recommendations and optimize event and field marketing strategy. You will be the point person representing TMA program performance among partner agencies. You will lead and participate in configuration, execution and monitoring for experiential, broadcast, digital, social, print, and integrated campaigns.

About You:

The perfect candidate will be an experienced leader, mentor, and collaborator. You will be comfortable representing TMA analytics and your expert POV among the internal team, a team of inter-agency leaders, and clients. You will have strong knowledge of advanced analytics, including extensive experience with marketing attribution methods in MMM and other methodologies. You will understand the relative strengths and weaknesses of attribution methodologies. You will have a creative problem-solving mindset, seeking to refine and expand on existing methods or create new solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day analytics relationships with account and activation, and inter-agency teams with a heavy focus on cross-functional collaboration
  • Guide and manage a team of analysts to mine data for insights and ask right the questions
  • Unpack the data in a compelling narrative, being able to tell a story to key stakeholders and aligning everyone on what the data is saying
  • Develop holistic measurement strategies including the creation of measurement frameworks and reporting programs as well as leading the execution of ongoing reporting with a team of direct and in-direct reports.
  • Direct performance analytics for local marketing efforts, developing best-in-class system for measurement and reporting, including ROI.
  • Refine methods for evaluating opportunities and estimated ROI for local marketing opportunities.
  • Develop effective methods for integrating local marketing performance with full-scale marketing campaigns.
  • Represent TMA and local marketing among a team of inter-agency analytics leads, who oversee additional marketing efforts.
  • Direct and mentor junior strategy/analytics team members to efficiently track key metrics and analyze the business impact of marketing efforts.
  • Leverage current suite of tools and identify incremental needs to create best-in-class cross-tool solutions
  • Lead measurement reporting solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with industry emphasis or related experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics or related discipline. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years in a management role with proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with Clients, agency teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Must be confident presenting to clients face to face.
  • Advanced analytics expertise, including attribution modeling methodologies
  • Expertise in developing cross-channel measurement frameworks to establish KPIs and reporting programs to measure client performance
  • Proven experience in data management and automated reporting solutions, such as Tableau
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others to creatively and strategically solve multiple problems at once, under quick deadlines.
  • Advanced analytical skills and prior hands-on experience working with business intelligence software in a partial or complete web-based Client reporting environment.
  • The ability to translate technical information and relay it in a way that is easy to absorb.
  • Proven ability to not just deliver insightful reports and analysis, but design the report parameters and templates at the front end of a project or campaign.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft suite of products.
  • Basic knowledge of social media metrics and third-party reporting tools
  • Travel as required.
