Job Overview:

TMA has an immediate need for an Experiential Producer in our Chicago office (hybrid) who will be working on our Armed Forces client. Candidate must be a strategic leader with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet stringent deadlines with a do what it takes attitude, anticipate, and solve problems, and provide positive conflict resolution, successfully delegate project responsibilities while retaining accountability for results, and manage, motivate, and lead teams / agency partners. Experience with overseeing client relationships and solid knowledge of and experience in field marketing is required. The ideal candidate must understand and direct assigned projects from conception through to onsite execution to project recap. Focusing mainly on content and working with the allocated project leads in the overall delivery.

Responsibilities

The Experiential Producer's main roles are to provide best-in-class experiential marketing ideas and execution, daily client service, and team leadership for junior staff. 

  • Establish strong working relationships with clients and integrated agency partners. 
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of experiential marketing, from a planning large scale concept development, sell-in standpoint all the way through eventual flawless execution. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the client’s business, the marketplace, and the competitive environment. 
  • Ability to manage strategic partnerships/alliances that provide clients with never-before-done ideas that deliver business results within budget.

 Team mentor: 

  • Provide direct training, leadership, and support to junior team members. 
  • Identify areas for and help contribute to the professional growth of field teams and other direct reports. 

Lead all program execution: 

  • Ensure creative product delivers against approved strategy, creative brief, and approved budget. 
  • Manage finance elements of programs including estimates, purchase orders, invoicing, and budget management. 
  • Oversee all executional aspects of program development including creative, vendor management, production, fabrication, transportation, onsite logistics and budgeting. 
  • Be clear in communication and written direction to team members and clients. 

Apply strategic skillset to assist in the development of client’s business: 

  • Contribute to the strategic development process, providing strategic insight and thought leadership from program development to agency POVs. 
  • Keep a constant eye on the experiential marketing industry, always knowing the latest and greatest tools, trends and programming breakthroughs which could provide conversion for our clients’ brands. 

Exhibit problem-solving abilities and provide solid, efficient solutions: 

  • Work with assigned team to proactively mitigate and resolve problems. 
  • Actively assess agency processes and business challenges to improve outcomes. 

Maintain a high-level of flexibility and adaptability: 

  • Have an available schedule and understanding that this is not a Monday through Friday 9 to 5 position. Weekend and evening work is a regular part of the position and availability is a must. 
  • Ability to work under pressure. 
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude, ensuring flawless execution no matter the obstacles or swerves. 
  • Ability to travel up to 30%. 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of client services experience, promotional background; experiential and field marketing background preferred. 
  • 4+ years management and experiential production experience. 
  • Proficient in experiential marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with creating, leading, and delivering presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
