Job Overview:

TMA has an immediate need for an Financial Operations Assistant Manager in our Dallas office (hybrid) who will be working on our Armed Forces client. This position works closely with the Account Director and Account Leadership, as well as, working in unison with the integrated internal teams to ensure work is delivered at the highest quality and within deadline. Every day, we push the ideas, push each other, and push ourselves to deliver work that matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide program management and serve as the key day to day financial contact for agency partners.
  • Oversee project monthly financial reporting, billings and reconciliations.
  • Build strong relationships with inter-agency teams.
  • Establish a deep understanding of the client’s business and competitive environment.
  • Manage executional aspects of budgets, timetables and workflow.
  • Craft clear and concise written correspondence internally/externally.
  • Monitor Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, aged WIP and project reports.
  • Develop and exhibit problem-solving abilities and provide solid, efficient solutions.
  • Manage project contracts from a budgeting perspective.
  • Anticipate potential problems and barriers and actively seek out internal agency resources to solve possible roadblocks.   
  • Help to train and mentor junior members of the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in a financial client services experience, preferably agency.
  • Management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to problem solve and multitask with an explicit eye for detail.
  • Able to plan and carry out responsibilities on-time with minimal follow-up.
  • Experience in analysis of financial reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fantastic presenter, bringing enthusiasm and confidence into a room. 
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management, clients, and colleagues with ease and confidence.
  • Familiarity with examining/synthesizing research and applying it to projects. 
  • Passionate, positive, and solution oriented.
