Global Ads Operations Lead, Deliveroo Advertising (L5)

Deliveroo Advertising’s vision is to be the media channel of choice to connect advertisers, restaurants and retailers to our marketplace users (consumers, partners and riders). Deliveroo Advertising is a Global full-funnel media proposition both on and off platform. Advertisers will pay us to influence consumers to purchase products that are sold on and off our marketplace.

We are looking for an Ads Operations Lead to join Deliveroo. The Ads Operations will be based in our HQ in London (with flexible, hybrid working), supporting campaigns for our Restaurant Partners, Non Endemic and CPG Advertisers, and will report to the Head of Operations.  

What you'll be doing

  • Work with Restaurant Partners, & Commercial managers to develop & activate comprehensive on/off platform digital and non digital media campaigns. 
  • Execute multi-channel campaigns to ensure smooth campaign launch and mid-flight optimisations
  • Develop and maintain central standard operating procedures and Partner Brand Ads Playbook.
  • Deliver high quality Ads Campaigns; ensuring compliance, aligning with business objectives, maintaining high creative and strategic standards.
  • Lead the Advertising centre of excellence; build and develop best practices, training docs and operational models to scale our advertising proposition globally.  
  • Drive the implementation of media activity, ensuring coordination with key stakeholders within the Ads and Core Commercial teams.  Work with Product, Engineering and Data Science to develop self-serve tools to automate the creation and reporting of media campaigns.
  • Use data and analytics to guide advertising decisions and strategies.
  • Ensure all campaigns run smoothly and are executed to the highest standards. Specify, communicate and measure against key KPIs to drive improvements
  • Produce full Post Campaign Analysis for all campaigns, delivering insightful reports and commentary.
  • Support the delivery of strategic initiatives to improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the global advertising function. With a focus on driving action through people and process

Skills & Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in advertising operations; activating media campaigns across digital channels. Ideally from an Agency or publisher.
  • Demonstrable track record in managing and executing digital advertising campaigns (search, display, e-mail, social).
  • Experience in the successful project management of end to end project delivery.
  • The ability to deliver multiple campaigns simultaneously, constantly reviewing performance and making recommendations for improvements where needed, including optimisation techniques against campaign objectives.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and ROI metrics such as ROAS, CTR, and CPA.
  • Highly organised with an exceptional eye for detail, able to work to required campaign timelines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, able to build internal relationships with key internal stakeholders (including Ops, Commercial, Legal and Finance).
  • Ambitious self starter, with drive to make things happen independently and through collaboration.
