The Team

This role sits within the Growth Marketing vertical of our Growth, Strategy & Analytics team, which in turn reports to the Global VP of New Verticals (Grocery, Shopping HOP, and Editions). The team’s remit is to tackle some of Deliveroo's most interesting and demanding challenges in Grocery, our fasting growing business unit. Our primary objective is to drive further growth across our markets, both through onboarding new customers, and through increasing frequency of our existing customers. The team combines strategy, insight, analytics and execution through our owned channels (CRM and in-app). The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of how we use owned channels to acquire and retain customers to grocery, be part of the team developing & executing our experimentation strategy and work closely to support a team of highly skilled marketing managers across the UK and other priority markets.

The Role

As the Senior CRM Executive you will be responsible for; leading our owned-channel execution for Grocery, designing and executing experiments and building out automated journeys and experiences designed to drive Grocery adoption and ongoing use. Whilst this role sits within the global Grocery team, you will continue to be part of the wider CRM family, benefiting from insights across an experienced team, constantly developing tools and guidance on best practices. This is a new role in an ambitious and fast-paced team; the candidate will need to be adaptable and willing to adjust their approach as we learn more and more about this exciting new vertical. The role will also involve working closely with a diverse group of global stakeholders. 

This role will be based in our London HQ. We have a hybrid working environment with 3 days minimum per week in the office required.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own operational delivery, optimisation & reporting of all automated campaigns and experiments, across channels such as email, push & in app, to deliver engagement, consideration & conversion 
  • Collaborate with Global Growth Marketing Manager, Growth Analyst, Local Marketing and central CRM teams to create & deploy an effective test and learn strategy
  • Work with Global Grocery Brand Lead and studio / agencies and  to create campaigns that embody our brand, capture attention and drive impact
  • Create and implement test strategies, including A/B and multi-varient testing that optimises performance of new & existing campaigns
  • Drive innovative ideas and solutions in response to business and customer needs
  • Proactively report on all campaigns to stakeholders & propose/manage changes where necessary, to effectively manage spend vs budgets
  • Optimise our processes to ensure we learn from every campaign and get faster and more streamlined every time
  • Manage multiple projects at once, prioritising effectively across competing issues

Requirements

  • CRM / campaign management platform experience (Braze experience preferred)
  • CRM experience in a relevant industry (retail, grocery, travel sectors preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using data visualisation tools & reporting
  • SQL familiarity (understand concept of query writing, how to extract data and knowledge of how databases work)
  • HTML familiarity (ability to understand where changes need to be made)
  • Aware of GDPR / data privacy regulations and how these need to be considered
  • The role is London based, with the requirement of being in the office three days a week
