The Leadership and Party Affairs Operations Manager is an administrative and programmatic position that reports to the Deputy Director of Party Affairs and works on the Party Affairs and Delegate Selection team to help execute the organization’s goals. The Operations Manager leads operational projects, oversees processes and systems related to the operations of the Democratic National Committee’s Leadership Office as well as the delegate selection process, National Committee Standing Committee meetings, National Convention Standing Committees, and otherwise supports the work of the Party Affairs Department. Critical for success is an interest in the mission of the DNC, strong sense of personal initiative, respect for the sensitivity and confidentiality of information, and the ability to balance multiple tasks. Additionally, the Operations Manager works closely with the entire Party Affairs team, the Secretary’s Office, the ASDC and the National Convention team.
Responsibilities/Duties
Works across departments to inform colleagues of dates, deadlines and requested deliverablesCoordinates DNC Officer appearances and engagement for the DNCManages the DNC Officers logistical needsCoordinates meeting logistics for DNC and DNCC standing committees with the Secretary’s Office and DNCC team.Develops and maintains department file management systemCoordinates across the Party Affairs department to ensure that all team projects have supportAssists in team responsibilities as assigned, including review of delegate selection plans, staffing of meetings, providing trainings to other departments and developing written materials for internal and external partnersOversees special projects at the discretion of the Director of Party Affairs and performs other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission.Requirements and Skills

A Bachelor’s degree or 4 years experience in an office environmentComfortable working across multiple software platformsBased in or willing to move to Washington, DCThe Leadership and Party Affairs Operations Manager position will require travel, which could be up to 15% of the time.
The starting salary for the Operations Manager position is $65,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, exempt position that has an end date of November 15, 2024.
