Now, we’re looking for a Manager of Strategic Marketing Programs to help shape our marketing strategies and maximize customer engagement.
As a Manager of Strategic Marketing Programs, you will be part of our Lifecycle Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for leading conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives across key digital channels, driving customer acquisition improvements in leads sourced through our website, and optimizing user journeys to increase conversion from free trial signups. Leveraging your business acumen, expertise in marketing analytics, A/B testing, and online user behaviors, you will develop data-driven strategies that enhance user engagement and contribute to business growth. You will also own quarterly impact programs, ideating and formulating plans to engage audiences, drive interest in Cloudways, and grow customer adoption through digital campaigns. You will lead a cross-functional squad consisting of existing members from across the Marketing team, who will bring functional expertise in supporting you as you take end-to-end ownership of projects.
This position will ideally be a hybrid role based in Karachi (in-person presence at least 3 times a week), with an option for fully remote in case of a non-Karachi based hire.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Optimize Performance: Use analytical tools such as PowerBI, Mixpanel, GA4, and Customer.io (or similar platforms) to monitor and improve website traffic, conversion rates, and email campaign performance.
- Enhance User Journeys: Identify and resolve friction points within digital customer journeys, improve onboarding processes, and optimize lifecycle marketing to boost customer retention and satisfaction.
- Collaborate on Churn Reduction: Work closely with Customer Success and Product teams to develop strategies aimed at reducing churn, while optimizing conversion rates to achieve acquisition s goals.
- Data-Driven Marketing: Develop and maintain dashboards to provide actionable insights into key performance metrics (KPMs), facilitating a data-driven approach to decision-making across teams.
- Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and broader business objectives.
- Drive A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and implement A/B tests across digital touchpoints to continuously optimize conversion rates and engagement.
- Customer Segmentation & Personalization: Build audience segments based on data insights to deliver personalized marketing campaigns, ensuring relevance for different customer personas.
- Growth Initiatives: Lead user acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing strategies, focusing on full-funnel marketing to enhance overall growth.
- Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members within the growth marketing function to foster professional development and team growth.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate marketing workflows and streamline processes to improve overall efficiency.
- Reporting & Transparency: Regularly report on growth marketing initiatives and performance to senior leadership, ensuring clear visibility into progress and effectiveness.
What You’ll Add to Cloudways:
- 4+ years of experience in growth or lifecycle marketing, ideally in a SaaS or tech company.
- Ample technical knowledge of marketing analytics platforms such as PowerBI, Mixpanel, GA4, and Customer.io or similar tools.
- Communication & Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, provide clear communication across departments, and mentor junior team members.
- Expertise in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing strategies.
- Data Analysis & Consumer Insight: Strong ability to derive actionable insights from data and apply them to improve customer experience.
- A demonstrated interest in user behavior, customer satisfaction, and retention management.
- A growth mindset and drive for continuous learning and improvement.
