We want people who are excited to be at the center of the action on cloud and AI, driving strategy and execution on a CEO-facing team

We are looking for a top consultant or existing bizops team member excited to be at the cutting edge of cloud and AI. Reporting to the VP, Business Operations / CEO Chief of Staff, this role is at the center of it all - working on CEO-priority projects across strategy, operations, and Go-To-Market as we build and grow in the rapidly evolving space of cloud and AI.

Note: Open to pre and post MBA candidates (title and leveling can flex based on experience and skills).

What You’ll Be Doing:

Working on a team reporting directly into the CEO, you will work on some of the highest visibility initiatives for DigitalOcean as we make our mark in the cloud and AI space. The work ranges from strategy through to execution: teeing up key business decisions through market research and strategic analysis, and helping accelerate results across the business by supporting key initiatives across GTM and technology teams. You will have the opportunity to flex first principles problem solving approaches to both legacy challenges as well as new strategy questions, and will work closely with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders to analyze opportunities, synthesize findings, develop execution plans, and translate recommendations into results.
Our team's mission is to drive scalable growth and balance speed and precision to ensure scalability in everything we do. We are excited to have you join us!

What You'll Add to DigitalOcean:

  • High productivity: Take meaningful responsibility and initiative for shaping and executing our strategy with limited oversight.
  • Structured in thinking and approach: Develop and leverage frameworks to help structure the team’s thinking, facilitate alignment across various stakeholders, and identify 80/20 opportunities to reach insightful, actionable answers without analysis overload.
  • Skilled in analysis and presentation: Synthesize complex findings into crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences. Make data-driven decisions.
  • An expert at prioritization: Experience with (and an enjoyment of!) balancing numerous priorities and demands.
  • Team-oriented: Energized by teamwork and skilled in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with project management and 'influencing without authority': Ability to turn insights into action, standing up projects and coordinating mixed groups of stakeholders to deliver results
  • High-energy with a positive attitude: Motivated to work hard and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience at a top strategy consulting firm, investment bank, and/or operating experience in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in tech or cloud is critical for this role
