About the role

Dremio is looking for a highly capable and energized Technical Release Manager to help us build world class experiences for our customers. In this role you will have the opportunity to define and drive release processes that span across all aspects of the company. You will work closely with Development, Product and Customer Support teams to execute on the product release strategy. You will lead the release and launch activities related to our cloud and software products, and collaborate with leaders across the organization via exceptional written and verbal skills.

**The position can be fully remote, but minimal on-site travel is required.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive software release activities for cloud services updates and software (Major, minor, patch)
  • Define and drive best practices and consistency in the release processes across all products
  • Ensure product releases are on schedule and meet quality standards
  • Communicate release schedules and progress status to the company
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Support to assure that our customer satisfaction is high
  • Identify and manage release readiness dependencies across matrixed teams

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in software release management or equivalent
  • Industry experience delivering SAAS at scale
  • Experience with enterprise level software development management tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with asynchronous collaboration across globally-based remote teams 
  • Experience with and a passion for data-driven decision making

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience with Atlassian, Tableau, GitHub, and/or Jenkins toolsets
  • Data analysis skills including SQL

**Certain benefits are only allowed to full-time Dremio employees and may not be the same across all locations.

The compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Depending on the position offered, the on target earnings (OTE) may include a bonus or commission.
