Reporting to the VP, Global Controller, we are looking for an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for the day to day operations of the accounting department. This is a great opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Accounting Manager to join a high growth, mission-driven healthcare technology company, and have an instrumental role in driving the company forward.
Role and Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
- Help drive the month end close process
- Participation in transformational initiatives such as ERP system optimization
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for appropriate support and accuracy.
- Perform analytical review of the P&L to identify unusual/significant variances. Investigate further and resolve any issues
- Partner with the finance team to deliver internal and external reporting
- Manage accounts payable
- Supervise and train the accounting team
- Collaborate with various departments (HR, Legal, Operations, Engineering)
- Ad hoc projects and analysis
- Assist with annual audit
Professional Qualifications
- 6+ years of accounting experience (mix of industry & public accounting)
- 2+ years of managerial experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license or MBA is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system, Netsuite implementation a plus
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in a SaaS-based business or fast-paced technology company
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Experience preparing financial statements
Salary range: $130,000-$150,000
