About the Role

As a member of the Global Business Intelligence team, you will collaborate closely with the Finance and Strategy departments and work on tasks such as data pipeline creation, reporting and analysis.

By providing data, designing dashboards, and reports, you’ll empower stakeholders with timely, accurate and actionable insights. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on data accessibility and reporting, supporting the company’s growth and strategic initiatives.

You are expected to leverage knowledge of business alongside data expertise, workflows, methods and tooling to independently drive analysis and reporting. Business Analyst Level 2 adapts tools and methods to meet business needs, collaborating with analytics peers to uphold best practices for data quality. This role reports into the Manager of Business Analytics.

To be successful in this role, you are required to have strong data analytics skills, experience working with Finance and/or Accounting teams and ERP systems; possess excellent data visualization skills to build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards.

What you’ll do here:

  • Data Partnership and Reporting:  As a trusted data partner, you own data delivery and maintain data pipelines for finance, accounting and stakeholder requests, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Integrate, automate, and maintain data connections between financial and business reporting tools, enabling comprehensive KPI analysis and data sharing.
  • Self-service analytics: Support self-service analytics initiatives by working closely with the BI team to optimize data access and streamline workflows.   
  • Data supply: Conduct periodic and ad-hoc data pulls to monitor business performance.  
  • Analysis and Insights: Run data analysis by applying suitable methodologies and translate it to actionable insights. 
  • Automation and Visualization: Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to effectively convey data-driven insights.
  • Data Governance and Quality: Maintain and implement automated quality monitoring processes to support data governance and ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across reporting 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Finance or FP&A Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role preferably in a B2B software environment.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in SQL, familiarity with ETL through DBT or Python is a plus.
  • Understanding of accrual-basis accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite), particularly in financial data consolidation and automation.
  • Solid knowledge of BI reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
  • Skilled in data visualization and dashboard creation, as well as in storytelling with data.
  • Understanding of data management processes, including data pipelines and workflows.
  • Proactive and collaborative with a bias for action and a focus on delivering business results.
  • Legally authorized to work in the European Union

This will be a hybrid role with in-office expectations.
