With digitalization now a driving force in the construction industry, Hilti Group has acquired Fieldwire, a San Francisco-based digital site management platform that enables general contractors and subcontractors to be more efficient on their job sites.

Fieldwire is on track to become the world's leading digital site management platform. In this context, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative to focus on the top of the sales funnel and be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads to pass on to Account Executives. Your primary objective is to create sales opportunities. You will work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to understand customer needs and articulate the unique value of our platform. Ideal candidates should be eager to demonstrate their ability to be driven self-starters.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Researching potential customers (using tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc.) and the Hilti contact base
  2. Identifying the key players, decision makers and generating interest through cold discovery calls, and email campaigns
  3. Understanding customer pain points, challenges, and buying intent
  4. Generating sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives using the Fieldwire qualification criteria
  5. Setting up discovery calls or demos for Account Executives
  6. Ensuring seamless handoff to AEs with detailed lead notes
  7. Following up and nurturing dormant leads until they are ready to move further in the sales process

At Fieldwire, we’re looking for our next Sales Development Representative to have the following skills and experiences:

  1. 12 months of prior B2B Sales Development Representative or cold outreach experience in SaaS, preferred
  2. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or 1-2 years of relevant work experience)
  3. Fluency in business French and English is a must
  4. Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills, ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple leads at the same time
  5. Excellent written and spoken communication and consultative selling skills, ability to handle rejection and persist with follow-ups
  6. Proficient in Salesforce.com
  7. Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus
  8. Strong self-drive and commitment to deliver results
  9. Positive outlook, growth mindset and ability to take responsibility for own successes and failures
  10. A strong team player and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with team members in other areas of the business

Where is the job located?

This role is hybrid and based in Boulogne-Billancourt. Most of the customer relationship is managed remotely, through Teams. Preference is given to the candidate who can be present at the Hilti headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt 3 days a week.
