Quotient Therapeutics, Inc. is a privately held, early-stage company developing a novel genomics platform and therapeutics for diseases with a large unmet need.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Director/Director of Pharmacology to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our drug discovery and development programs by providing strategic leadership and expertise in pharmacology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage pharmacology studies to support drug discovery and development programs across various therapeutic areas
  • Design, implement, and oversee in vivo pharmacology studies, including efficacy, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, etc
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biology and drug discovery, to advance project goals
  • Analyze and interpret pharmacological data, ensuring high-quality documentation and reporting
  • Initiate and closely oversee necessary external collaborations including CROs and academic labs
  • Manage and maintain the vivarium, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance pharmacology research capabilities
  • Represent the pharmacology function in internal and external meetings, presenting data and program updates

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D., Pharm.D., or equivalent in pharmacology, biology, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in pharmacology, with a proven track record in drug discovery and development
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling and managing vivarium operations
  • Strong background in in vivo pharmacology, with hands-on experience in designing and conducting animal studies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to vivarium management and animal research
